Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 August 2026

These terms govern your use of ScreenGlowWhite (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

What ScreenGlowWhite is

ScreenGlowWhite provides free, browser-based tools — a full-screen colour display, a dead pixel test, and a brightness/calibration check — for personal, non-commercial use. No account or sign-up is required.

No warranty

The Site and its tools are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. The dead pixel and brightness tests are visual aids intended as a general guide, not a diagnostic or calibration instrument, and results depend on your specific screen, lighting, and viewing conditions. ScreenGlowWhite does not guarantee the tools will detect every display issue or that they replace advice from your device manufacturer.

Your responsibility

Any decisions you make based on these tools — including returning, repairing, or seeking a warranty replacement for a device — are your own. Check your manufacturer's specific policy before relying on any test result here as grounds for a return or claim.

Advertising

This Site is supported by display advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties, and ScreenGlowWhite is not responsible for the content of ads shown. See the Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools to scrape or excessively load the Site
  • Attempt to interfere with, disable, or circumvent the Site's advertising
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual property

The design, code, and written content of ScreenGlowWhite belong to Edmund S Ahiakpa unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to use the tools themselves for personal purposes; please don't copy or republish the Site's content or code elsewhere without permission.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
